There is a bond like no other....I see it.

Our home game on Thursday was "Senior Day"...which means a few things.
It means-
  • Saying Thank You to the girls you've shed blood, sweat and tears with, and for...
  • It meant showing them true friendships are formed just from this...
  • It means wishing them a "Job Well Done"
  • It means looking at them with "Farewell, and Good Luck in College"
  • It means that soccer isn't just the game, but the bond that is formed.
  • It means growing together and celebrating on this day...
It means that someday, just someday they will look back with many good memories...or at least we hope.
Senior girls, you make us proud....

This is how we do it.....

Eleven Seniors this year...(my craft bins put to very good use...)

Still in first place. Yes, that's right.

And these girls are very proud of our Seniors....

So is Coach Steve...

They look at eachother.  Under-Classmen, admiring the upper.

This girl.

And many are venturing in way different directions.  From Boulder, to Boston, North Carolina....

They are moving mountains.

So watch out....

Because they will move mountains....(Is this not the cutest picture of Megan giving kind words to Maddie...swoon. melt me)

I know for sure.

Because this sisterhood will launch them....

Silly and all.  They will move mountains...

Our Croatian Princess....

And it's these days.....

Do they really even know....how much these days mean?
They all make me proud.  It's been a great season working for and with them.  That I know for sure. And when people said to me "Leese, you should see the bond by seasons-end".  I would have never thought it would be this deep.  This pure.  Grass.  Soccer.  Fields.  Practices.  Injuries.  Tears.  Smiles. Laughter.  Sillies.  And lots of hugs.  They are moving mountains.

Happy Saturday Seniors....2 more games to take Sunset League First place!
We CAN DO THIS...Can I get a woop woop?  holla.

Eat well, and start planning for Valentines Day....
You have been warned.
xoxo

And please join me in a CHEER, because we HAVE MUSIC AGAIN! *clink
