And the fun begins....

If you've ever met my family, especially my Aunt Lynda, they love to have games, kids or no kids, we play games. My Aunt Lynda pictured in the right hand side, coordinating music loves loves loves this game. It was fun, and the little ones loved it even more. My cousin Monica and Kevin. Super adorable couple, enjoying the nice perfect evening celebrating her dad's 50th! Good job Monica you did a great job! Thanks for the Coronas!
It's was down to these 3 girls, and they were cracking up with the ambition to win!

Little Miss. Cameron, 11 months, just ready to walk, and loving her little car. What's cute, it Bill was actually the camera man for once, and caught some really cute pictures of her. I will keep and show her when she's turning 18!

Look at these 3 beautiful girls! Amanda, Angelica and Evelyn. Super cute picture, and I had a great time sitting out under the trees just talking, laughing and of course...enjoying some super yummy cocktails. Cheers girls!

Aunts & Nieces....

When I look at this picture, I see memories of my Aunts helping and teaching us things. I know my cousin Andrea is an amazing mommy, and an amazing girl. She made some super yummy margarita's this night, and we had a blast. My Aunts have helped us girls in so many ways..keeping strong, looking beautiful and opening their homes for fabulous family times.

Thank you Susie and Nettie! Andrea you look adorable!

Going into 8th Grade...Miss. Kali

Here's my little lady posing for herself while I drive her around town....But when I go through my pictures, I sit and stare at how cute those little lips, cheeks, eyes... are. I can still see her baby fat, her baby cheeks staring at me...Still so young, still so innocent, and such a sweet good girl.
Nice braid Kali!
We love love love you.....

Mr. Jake and the Grasshoppers....End of summer 2009

We are just about to lose the months of summer of 2009, and what better expression other than this....Jake. So chill and so ready for fall.... On this summer night, Kali and I sat out back looking into the "Morning Glory's" we grew sent by seeds from my parents and these little grasshoppers were everywhere, including their mommies and daddies. Super cute, and super small. We put a rolli-polli next to one to show the size. Cute cute cute.

Happy Birthday Kristopher "20"

20 years ago, at 5:49am on a wednesday morning after 7 hours of labor, I held this little guy in my arms. I was young...I was scared, I was determined. And I was so in love with him. This morning, I was lying in bed, early in the morning, just thinking about all the years, all the things I've done for him, things I have fought for...people I have stood up to...doors I have knocked on.... All for the love of my son. I love you Kristopher.
Explore the world you're in. Happy Birthday Bub. May you have many many more.

Wayne and Tori Havasu 2009

We had a blast together. Family times that will always stay close to our hearts. I was so happy to have Wayne in Havasu with us.

Cheers!

Sweet special Sunsets...

One of my favorite things about Havasu is good coves, and special sunsets. Bill and I snuck up a day before everyone. After waking up to flowers on the kitchen counter and my favorite protein smoothie, he made the day really cute. That evening we launched the boat, headed to this cove, and sat there talking about all the things we do..places we see...people we endure.... and it's these little places, little things...and just being together alone. Sweet Sunsets...
I love you Bill. And thank you for the little things...Its means alot.

Super cutie Havasu hottie 2009

At the ripe age of 13, it's rare she isn't posing for the camera. Cute smiles, and set for the flash. But these little candid moments are the best. So innocent. She thought these goggles were so cool. After blasting her eyes in our Salt Water pool, she was very impressed on how these protect. I'm framing this picture for our house. I love love love it. Sweet Miss. Kali you are the best.

Time to cool down....

The weather was awesome. I always look at the temperature before we leave..Why? I don't know, but Bill and I both do. Sometimes it says 118, sometimes it says 122, and other days it is 105ish..This day was 105 and nice. And I swam like a ten year old. We had a blast. Thank goodness for mini vacations...we sooo needed it.

Trav & Bill August 2009

We met Travis and Misti about 7 years ago.
He out selling ad's and Bill listening to his offers...Turns out...after years of getting to know eachother, they became friends, and friends for life I'm sure. Good friends and good times.
On this day in Havasu, we hopped in their boat, and had a super great day...Cheers!
Thanks Travie, Misti, Jaz and Patches!

Boat ride to the Springs....

Tori had some good wind blockage with those fabulous shades... We had such a great day out on the lake with her Daddy, and amazing weather..

Boat racer's reunion....Gaylord's August 8, 2009

Every year, Marine Stadium in Long Beach hosts' a great race with Cracker box boats, flat bottoms, and various other aquatic vessels and SeaDoo's. This year they honored some of the orignal racers, and their makers. Gaylord and Bill were invited to attend. They served a very yummy lunch and honored those who are with us, and those who have left us.
Today was a great day out in the sun, the weather was perfect, planning was awesome, and Gaylord chatted to his hearts content with so many people interested in his stories, ideas, and memories. We had a great spot on the beach...with our ez up, munchies and great fast boats for the day....

Some recognition.....Long Beach Marine Stadium 08/08/09

The Legend...Gaylord...August 8, 2009-

Craftsmanship and quality at it's finest.

An orginal Gaylord "Flatbottom" boat...

Father and son....traditions carried down the line...
The love of fiberglass....

Gaylord & Bill August 8, 2009 Marine Stadium-Long Beach

Gaylord built this boat back in the 60's. There were two "Gaylord" Flatbottom boats here on display...and the owners were thrilled to get a chance to talk with Gaylord and drill him of the "how'd you do this.." and "what about that.."
Super sweet memories.
Where'd the time go..?

100 MPH...."Amazing sound and speed..."

These guys move along the shoreline, pushing well over 100 mph. Talk about some good noise. The louder the better! Our family has the need for fast boats, good music and great times! Imagine what Gaylord witnessed in his era. Amazing.
Cheers to APBA! Hopefully we can enjoy your racing for many years to come!

"Both drivers out and OK!"

Although the thrill of racing is a rush in itself, the sight of seeing a boater go upside, and over isn't good. This driver, taking the turn tight, met a little wake, and just like that..over they went. Usually the rescue team work to flip over the boat, but this was holding up the next race...so away it went, just like that....
Cheers to the teams who took good care of them. Both drivers....are OK!
