Finals....

This week has been full of studying for Kali. Finals yesterday and today.....So studying...and worry for her.... She has always worked VERY hard in school. Studies...and academics was always quite the breeze for Kris. Kali works hard to obtain her GPA. It doesn't come easy. But she always amazes me with tenacity. She has a very full week of soccer, pasta parties..etc. But manages to fit in tutoring, study time...etc. Well, this week, our Monday game was rained out...(Hallelujah!). No practice all week.. Just time to study. It's been so peaceful for me. A friend Kristine from years ago, came by to visit. Hadn't seen her in a couple of years, so we had MUCH to catch up on...laugh, be silly, share fun stories with our daughters together... I was also able to catch Happy Hour with my friend Kyoko last night. Just the two of us, cuddled up in a booth, catching up. Laughing, sipping wine..and sharing soccer stories...along with life. We both wish our girls the best in finals..and the joy of High School soccer moments...
So..it's been a pretty calm sweet week for me. Hair appointment today (3 hours long...yes that's right...ughh!) But I do leave there feeling like a rockstar. Something about a hairstyled..I feel like it makes your clothes even look better. haha. Well...and this awesome weather....sure helps. It also helps the soul. Get out there and enjoy it this weekend....If you haven't caught a sunset...now is the time. THEY are super gorgeous.....and so good to watch. One of my favorite things to do...and it's free. Sigh.
