When your midwest most conservative friend throws up a peace sign.....the wine is that good.

When these two love harder and live fuller each day. And will celebrate a huge twenty something wedding anniversary next weekend.   Sweetest people you will ever meet.  Ever.  Trust me.

After Saturday's soccer game, where we tied, this feller joined us on the dock to fish the afternoon away with his daddy.  Kali?  Oh, in her room watching a movie, and studying. Chapter 16.

And when you realize your kids have other plans than hang with their parents on the dock and fish.....It becomes sort of funny at times when you watch on...like this pole with a tangled line.  You all know what happens next right?  Dad helps untangle.  So mister chapter 13 can continue on. And we sit. Smile, I snap away...smile more.

And of course I was surprised with this lobster.  THANK YOU MARK!! Did you all know I am captivated by lobster logo's...along with Crab and Octi.  I just am.  Strange I know.  I think it's beautiful.  I now have a lobster towel, lobster blanket for soccer games, and lobster rain boots.  With this new feller.  #yesimcool.

When good wine on Saturday night roll into this?  Dinner with Randy and Carmen never dull. Never.

We were blessed to bbq with our kiddo's yesterday.  Kris brought carne asada beef and chicken...so we put together the best afternoon dinner.  It's not the fancy of what we ate.  It was being together.  Getting ready to jump back into the week.  Being together.  Loving the sunshine.  Making the moments count.  Because before you know it, it's 5:30am, and you look at the clock, and it's Monday.  Barf.  Let's do this.  Time to get crackin'.
