Celebrating the skip into 41......Woot Woot!!

So we escaped for the weekend...no kiddo's. And YES the house is too quiet. It just is. It's the typical can't wait to get away and when you do without them....to me it's just not the same..I was surprised by my sugar plum with these and his always amazing cards. So sweet. Our weekend started off on Thursday with what we thought would be lunch at the Refuge Golf Club house...well....one look of us when we walked in and we were urgently were escorted out to "Eat in the patio area"- because of our Fatal outfits. So funny. Because rules are rules..and yes we respect them. But the place was empty and money is money. And we aren't ghetto! haha. We declined the offer to eat on the patio and cruised over to Macai by the bridge for a super yummy lunch......

Thursday evening after being stung by the margarita bug and my second Chocolate covered cherry martini....ABSOLUTELY YUM! yawwwnnn look at those eyes... Happy Birthday to me!Dinner at Cha Bones..amazing food, and fun silly times together...

My sister and I. She got stung on this day, while I recovered, she got her groove on. Heading to Pirates Cove....

As we pull into the channel LOOK what we find.....missing my little birdies...this melted my heart...so of course I just snapped away...my sister was insisting they were abandoned but I knew she had to be close......

And here she is...... She has 7...four females and 3

males... This was the sweetest part of my day. Bill was so excited too. He fed them, turned the music down...and tried to send Kali pictures....

Motherhood. The daddy stayed right by here...and kept everything in check. They had such a good little system...she would make these little noises and they'd all scurry right back to her...

UH OH......Another bird made a nest without the Bill mesh block. lol!!!!!! (Actually this is the neighbor house across the street...I walked over to give her love...)

And we prepare to have another fun day on the lake. Wind is down, sun is out...90 degrees.

But my little sweet Kali plays in Irvine and another tomorrow...parentless but my good friends will show her spirit and love. CHEERS!
