The little girl that sat across from me at The Old Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos that first month with agony in her eyes to just come home. That freshman year, most especially those first few months......
WERE. Brutal.
She's closing a big chapter in a couple weeks.
One that is dedication.
Hard work.
Laughter.
Sacrifice.
Patience.
Parties.
Tears.
More laughter.
Countless hours studying in the library.
Countless hours in meetings for a sorority.
Migraines and tummy issues from Midterms, and papers.
The tenacity and G.R.I.T she put forth, is merely a speck in my body.
She carried it.
She's almost done you guys.
For this chapter in life.
And to receive these ropes today Cum Laude, Full Honors....
Is kickass with a capitol K!
Keep gettin' after it Kali....
