Inhale....Exhale.

Work has been tough.

Tough as in s.l.o.w.

Nothing we can't get through, we always have.

Slow as in the world is recovering from their holiday senseless spending.  Well, that's my theory.

You know those kind folk that spent like crazy banchees during the holidays, and sooner than later received their statements.  bum bum bummmmmm.

Well, now those people aren't shopping.  Which directly affects us.

So this morning as I stepped out of bed, and prayed as I made my bed. I knew a couple of things. One, I am tough. and two, this too shall pass. It always does, and the world will keep spinning whether I like it or not.
Tossing in the towel isn't gonna work.  And so, my commitment, is to make a difference.  Somewhere, somehow.

So the tough stay tough, and the creative juggling clowns such as myself, must pull up her big girl undies, and march forward.

While I searched for a picture for a customer this morning of a custom 5th wheel bed lid, I came across these.

And you all know how much these things melt me.

A 5th Grade field trip.

Our girl tearing up the track.

1st Place Kali. Displaying so, on the head of the 2nd placer. ha. Atta girl.
This picture cracks me up, because Kali could not stand this teacher.  boom! World, meet Mrs.Meanie-

Egg toss getting crazy.

Their Papa.  Rest in Peace Steve.  He was a good man to us.

White Sunglasses ruled the world. #stillhot
No, seriously they did. HA!
We will wait for selfie Friday nights.  And better days with sunshine will soon be here.  It's the quiet, slow season worth fighting for.  Always has, and always will.  Bill and I speak of the moments when we get to slip away to our favorite little cove.  Shutting off the world behind us.  We will work for it. We will get there.   When life gets tough, it's best to look around and remind one another how good things really are.

Happy Taco Tuesday kids.

I think your rain dances are working kids.  More rain in our forecast.

Wash our cars, or not?

I say, not.

All the love,

This Mama Lisa.  Who loved white sunglasses.

Things.

Happy Monday kids.  How bout' them Seahawks?

While driving to work this morning, I was cracking up with thoughts of things that trip me out.

Like 2 door cars. My sister is guilty of this.  Ha. Why Tina, Why!

People that own animals, yet don't take proper care of them.  Shame on you. No they don't belong out in the cold, and YES you should spay and neuter them NO MATTER WHAT

The show "The Bachelor"-

People that spit loogies on the ground.  Why.  Why, freaking, WHY!

People that have picky tactics and head through drive-thru's.

Evil mean people.

Why PMS kicks our asses so bad. Well at least mine.

When you aren't in a hurry and hit every green light. Yet the opposite if late, and under pressure.

What about socks that disappear?

I hope this day is good to you all.

I am all healed and better.  What a strange couple of days that was.  I had the funnest Saturday with my sister, and our sweet girls.  Farmers market, then off to Bill's Fatal photoshoot.
Healing was a challenge on Saturday.  Hurt pretty bad, but I think it was from laughing so much.
It was a good day.  Family, laughter, being all together.....totally worth it.

Honey Badger smile thanks to swollen cheek and jacked up self conscious moment.

Gone are the days of car seats.  Gone are the days of Tori pulling Kali's bows out, while tears ensued.
The cries and little spats over this and that. Gone. Now it's laughter, and planning and shopping for their parties that night.  Kali had a beach house party down in Hermosa. While Tori would be on a party bus headed to Santa Monica Pier. Both required costumes.

Oh, hi sexy.

And hi Krissofferrr

Shortly after I snapped a few more pictures, I jetted home in more agonizing pain. Called my Dad, whined to him a little, curled in a ball and back to sleep I went.  Call me a sissy, yes I am. The cold wind, the fun long day of laughing turned around and bit my bootay.  I stayed in bed Sunday til' 10.  Which is record breaking for this honey badger.
Soon, we'd  celebrate commercial day...Superbowl Sunday spent at our local pub.  Where the locals greet you with smiles, along with little silly pranks.

Minus Russ and Jodee, our little rat pack was there.

Long, fun weekend filled with all kinds of stuff.

All in good fun.

I am just stoked that the worst part of my dental gig is over.

I woke this morning with the fresh feeling of a new start.  New week.  The scaries are gone. ha.
The little rain we did get, washed away the grunge.

The sun is shining and the clouds are passing by.

My pain is gone.  My heart is full.

I'm ready to take on the week.  Just like those Seahawks took on those Bronco's. ha.

An ol' customer of ours said to me today "those Bronco's couldn't lick their lips yesterday"- HA!

I'm not even into football, but hey, it's always nice to root for one side or the other.  Shoulda put some dough down on the table huh.

Go get after it kids.

Love yourself, and be good to yourself too.

Happy Birthday Cousin Mike!  And Happy Belated Birthday Cousin Patrick-

Step back with me for a moment.

I stayed home yesterday.  Had a tooth removed in preps for an implant.  And lets just say, that sucked.
We all know what a sissy I am with needles.  And if you didn't know that about me, well now you do.
I've had a baby el' naturelle, but the very sight of needles, that tray, the oxygen..all of it, can suck it.
But...but, I got through it.  So yesterday I stayed home.  The pain comes and goes, but most of all, it's going. Away.  Thank God.  Thank God, I have my little support staff here to give love, and many other little sweet tokens.

Bill, Kali and Krissofer.  You are my rocks.  And I will forever be so thankful.

It's amazing how easy a memory flush can happen with the point and click of my finger.

Walk back with me for a second?

So many of these brought back happy moments.  Silly moments....and a heck of a lot of "wow the years have flown by"-

The earliest years of selfies.

So close, yet so far..
I loved that bracelet.  Crumbled in a trillion little pieces on a bike ride one day....
Kris gettin' it at Downtown LA's streets.

Those were the days...
Christmas time in need of a tan.
The days of getting into our bags, especially underwear and bikini's.  Perv.

Bill and Travis.
My soulmate.
The aunties.
Senior Prom Pimp Dog.
San Diego Poker Run.  Where the boats hauled ass, and the channel speed never let up.

Those warm summer nights at Chuy's.  I miss that place. Their chips and salsa the most.
Before an abundance of tattoo's.  awww. Merkemer
When hair was did before the sand bar long days...
Our littlest and our biggest.
Bored while we worked around the house.
I love everything about this picture. Except.... The Big Foot.
Then there's this dude. Margarita Saturday. At a definite favorite spot.  Where the beer is cold, the company is perfect. And the sights and sound are everything Havasu.    I can't wait to go back.  When the river flow turns against me, in any form, I tend to look at pictures, and remember that good times will soon be here.

Happy Saturday Silly heads.  Be thankful if you have a genetically perfect mouth full of toofers.

Southern California is covered in sunshine again today.  As much as we love it, we really need it to go away .

Love and big wishes for a perfect day kids...

GO SEAHAWKS!
