Tilly's Charity Golf Event June 2010

I'm not one to stamper over a star, or even ask for autographs, but we're in this little room with Cary Hart. Some might not know of him, however he's the husband of Pink...the singer. He's a well know Moto Cross Racer. And the founder of Hart & Huntington..clothing line. Look at Bill....Cocktail anyone!?!! haha. The theme was Hawaiian.... Me and Cary....wheeww hoooo.
Soaking up what was left of Mr. Sun...with a glass of my favorite....VINO....

Nice hat hottie! He had purchased all different kinds of outfits for us to wear. And for anyone that knows me, I'm not the dress up kind of girl. Just have never been big into that...and he was crushed. He really thought I would wear that grass skirt....

El Niguel Golf Country Club. Beautiful venue, beautiful place and very yummy dinner...

Good Bye McAuliffe...Hello Los Alamitos High School

Big brother....brought her some sweet flowers.....
The promotion party at Long Beach State was amazing. Every detail, every thought, especially the food was super cool for our 8th Graders.

My sister and I worked the Karaoke area. At first Kali was livid with me. She doesn't mind me being with her anywhere, anytime...but this was pushing it. Actually we had the most busiest station. The kids loved this!

Here's an example...I sat back and reflected on how these sweet moments, are so precious for these guys. Some day they will be Dads, husbands, colleagues...and the time spent in Middle School and High School are forever the grounds on which we start. They sang wholeheartedly. No worries about what they looked like, or how they actually sounded. But friendships, music and singing for the moment. Priceless.

This place was simply amazing for the kids. Pool tables, a game room, bowling alley...

Promotion Party June 2010

Fun times with her buddies from 8th Grade.... They had an awesome bowling alley...She loved it!

Here's some of the group- Out by the pool....Long Beach State University

This picture was supposed to be posted for Fathers Day, but I uploaded and didn't delete. Our family leaves notes for eachother...in lunches, tucked in sweet spots, but mostly by the coffee maker in the morning. It started with Bill and I leaving notes to eachother, and now Kali leaves notes for us in our mugs...or little napkin notes. She did this on Fathers Day morning. Cute. I often wish I took pictures of the little notes Kris would leave for me too. These are the little things that mean so much....

Kali was invited to 4 graduation parties all on the same day. I decided to take a picture of one of the invites so Kali will remember these days for the rest of her life....The hard part was deciding on the ones I would drive her around to.

Good-Bye McAuliffe Middle school...Hello Los Alamitos High School

Freshman year here I come! Class of 2014..................
Kali and her friends at promotion. Lots of excitement...lots of hugs...and plenty of "Wow where'd the time go?!" Dad brought her this lei - She was to shy to wear on stage....so it sat with us....

Jerry, Sean and Bill.....Our Havasu friends.....

Kali cracking up at something...I think it was the "Bubba Shrimp" stuffed animal guy walking around...we tagged him with Fatal Clothing gear...and posters....

Bill next to Jerry's Merc. Beautiful car!

Ink-n-Iron 2010

Before we left for a Ink-N-Iron, this Butterfly was unexpected and brought in our house by Hannah (Kali's kitty)- It really was a bummer considering it's wing was injured, but such a sweet piece of natural beauty...we rescued.... Mama and Kali inside the dome...which used to house "The Spruce Goose"
Rainbow bright girl. Her makeup and hair were absolutely amazing. She was very pretty.

Happy 14th Birthday Miss. Kali

Our time with her is precious...moments are fast...but we are holding on for dear life.....We celebrated her 14th, at the Lake, one of our favorite places, with the people we love, friends we adore, and food to comfort the soul! oh....and good wine...and Margaritas...! That's a whoppin' big candle! 14 candles melted into one! haha.

Does this mean Happy Birthday Big 14!?

Mama made her favorite cake and her favorite meal....We had a few friends over which worked out good, we stayed at our house swimming and away from the crazy party people on the main crazy day..saturday.... I cooked, and cooked, and baked and served a yummy dinner of Chicken enchiladas, rice, yummy homemade beans- and a nice salad.... This is beautiful AVA!

And this is handsome silly Grafton!

Kali super stoked opening some of her gifts...but her grand gift was her
"New Apple Mac Book Lap top and Ipod Touch"!!!!!!! I know it might sound elaborate, but she's worked so hard academically, physically through sports almost daily, a great daughter to us...a great sister...She really worked for it...plus will need it for High School. She couldn't believe it....we also got her a portable DVD player for the road...and clothes...but she hasn't been able to part with her laptop since...

Do you ever take a picture that you really like...whether it's the right angle of yourself, or the back ground is totally perfect?....And then the person you pose with offers a goofy silly face! He's sticking his tongue out towards me. ugh. haha

A place she wanted to visit...Memorial Weekend 2010

There is a place called Pirates Cove up the river...which offers a very nice long boat ride to get there. Because Kali's birthday weekend always seems to land on Memorial, it makes it tough to compete with all the crowds and crazies! But we took a nice boat ride up on Friday early afternoon, and we pulled up to front row parking with this cabana all to our selves. They have new sand.....a nice restaurant and bar for everyone to enjoy. It's a very new place...so of course it's clean clean clean! My fav! Our boat ride up to Pirates Cove...
Kali and Big Bucks...He loves the boat!

Mama and Kali on the Sea Doo's. So fun!

Leaving Catalina on the Express!

So....throughout Saturday night into the wee hours of Sunday, we wake through the night to hear lots and lots of wind...the kind of wind that blows trees around...keep in mind our ride over was terrible..and now were taking 19 people back home, but the weather seems even crazier...As we all approach the dock, the guy I met at the Dive Shack sees me, and proceeds to tell Bill and I to start buying passes, if we want to get home that day..and get the passes now! And only hoping the Catalina Express will take the rough seas. So we did.... 7:30 am with a departure of 10:15- Isn't this an eery sign to keep dockside? There she is.

Gaylord boarding. Escorted as the first people on...
Miss. Kali and mommy. Super scared, but prayer and meditation got us through what was gonna be another crazy ride back. There were 30 foot swells.. The servers on the express(very courteous and a great staff, by the way) were walking isle to isle with small trash bags for sick people. GROSSSSSS!!!!! Kali....just keep looking out the window..... LOL!

This picture doesn't do justice. Mother Nature was rocking the seas!

Trying to plan an escape off the island...

This is my handsome boy the morning of..."trying to get his family off the island safely"- We just enjoyed some waffles and eggs in the restaurant behind him..getting ready to say our good-bye's. I left him there to come back Monday...After the storm.... The kids getting antsy waiting to board the Catalina Express.....In the very distance...2 Red Flags. That means strong "Gale wind warnings"- DANGER!
The pier-

The TWO RED FLAGS!
